 - We like to make clear some aspects of editor
v1.35 that causes problems to users.
1) You can of course play your new maps !
All you have to do is to finalize it ( Menu / File
/ Finalize MP mission ), run Game menu ( Menu /
Game / Game menu ) and the new map is available
when starting a game server ! During finalizing of
the new map there are 2 files created in Maps
folder - [scene_name].cbf and [scene_name].dat. You
can copy these 2 files on other computers to
Vietcong\Maps folder and then you can create game
server or join some using Editor v1.35 Game menu on
these computers too.
2) Export of .bes file from MAX
We released wrong version of export plugin that
crashes the MAX when entering Menu / File / Export.
Please delete file [3dsmax5.1]\plugins\MaxExport.dle
.
You can use the export utility ExportUtility.dlu to
export .bes files. You find it in the Utility panel
( is described in the help).
We are very sorry for these problems.
We would like to announce we work on the new web
www.pterodon.com where will be the section
dedicated to the Editor too. Thois new web should
be finished at the end of the September.

Na zaklade pripominek uzivatelu k VC beta-editoru by jsme radi
uvedli nektere veci na pravou miru...
1) Vytvorene mapy si zamozrejme muzete zahrat !
Staci hotovou scenu finalizovat ( Menu / File / Finalize MP
mission ), potom spustit herni menu ( Menu / Game / Game menu
) a pri zakladani serveru tam jiz nova mapa je na vyber ! Pri
zfinalizovani se nove vytvorena mapa ulozi do adresare Maps (
kde treba uz mate IndianCountry) do dvou souboru - [scene_name].cbf
a [scene_name].dat. Kdyz tyto 2 soubory nakopirujete na dalsi
pocitace ( opet do adresare Maps ), muzete se z techto dalsich
pocitacu pripojit ci vytvaret servery ( z Editoru v1.35 pres
Game menu )
2) Export .bes souboru z MAXe
Omylem jsme vydali spatnou verzi exportniho pluginu pro MAX
ktera shazuje cely MAX pri otevreni menu / file / export.
Smazte si prosim soubor [3dsmax5.1]\plugins\MaxExport.dle .
Na export souboru .bes ale muzete vyuzit exportni utilitu
ExportUtility.dlu, kterou muzete najit v panelu Utilities ( je
to popsano v helpu ).
Omlouvame se za tyto neprijemnosti.
Take by jsme radi oznamili, ze pracujeme na novych strankach
www.pterodon.cz ( a www.pterodon.com ), kde bude i sekce
zabyvajici se Editorem. Tyto nove stranky by mely byt
dokonceny koncem zari.
